BLUE1ST - Privacy Policy

BLUE1ST takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains the steps we take to ensure information about you is kept secure and confidential.

BlUE1ST will proceed to the treatment of the clients personal data in respect of the 30 June 2003 n.196 Italian Legislative Decree (c.d. Code relative to the protection of personnel data), that became active on the 1st of January 2004 in substitution of the 675/96 Law. The mention Decree protects the confidentiality of personal information and imposes obligations on those who handle such third party data. One of the most important legal requirements is that of informing the data subject and obtaining their permission to handle their personal information.

Whereas the data handling will be carried out following the principles of correctness, legality and transparency and in the protection of your privacy and rights,  in view of the above and, as per Section 13, we would like to inform you therefore of the following:

a) Information provided by you will be used exclusively for the following purposes:

a. to enable you to access and use the Service; and or

b. to personalise aspects of our overall service to you; and/or

c. to communicate with you; and/or

d. to process a transaction between you and third party and/or

e. to promote and organise the initiatives of BLUE1ST and organise events and /holidays and courses; and /or

f.  to send you newsletter, or sms, of our service/product/initiatives/events

g. to send you promotional message (email, sms) of our commercial partner.

In any case it will be preceded by an informative and, where necessary, by the acquisition of the consensus expresses by the interested party. The treatment of any data used for the purposes here exposed will be effected with automatized and non automatized modalities for the time necessary to attain the purposes for which they have been gathered. The information supplied will be handled both in printed and electronic form, manually and/or using electronic or automated methods. In particular, for the purposes cited above, apart from paper documents, information may be handled in the form of photos, recordings and images, both digital or otherwise:

b) the supplying of personal information not required for legal and/or contractual purposes is optional;

c) personal data may be handled by persons qualified as responsible or in charge of handling the information, professionals, legal advisers, financial advisers, consultancy and service companies, companies providing hardware and software assistance; and also by people in charge of handling data who operate under the direct authority of the data controller (employees and/or various collaborators).

Other Third parties whose right to access such information is recognised in law or by an order from the authorities.

Whereas communication to third parties does not exempt the data controller from supplying this documentation and from asking for consent, we wish to state that, as well as communications to persons whose right to access such information is recognised in law or by an order from the authorities, information can be communicated in Italy or abroad to the following: BLUE1ST Srl; possible partners in the realisation of our service; Third Party Service Provider (whose services are listed on the results pages of the sections of our website for the purpose of obtain an online quotation for you or comparing different products and service as requested by you; ie.Charter Company, Sailing School, Sailing Broker); companies and professionals; Recruitment companies; Bodies and Institutions; Banks and Credit Institutes; Insurance companies; Brokerage firms; Experts; third parties to whom you have given a mandate; Consultancy and Service companies; third parties whose right to access such information is recognised in law or by an order from the authorities.
Regarding the environment in which the data can be diffused, we wish to clarify that personal information (including curricula, recordings and images) of the participants can be placed on the institutional website o, on social network sites (Facebook, Twitter...), on paper or digital publications, brochures and other methods of communication such as, for example, CD and DVD and other multimedial devices.

Please be aware that your consent to process your personal data shall not be required in the cases referred to the Data Protection Code in Part II as well as in the Section 24, for example if the processing is necessary to comply with an obligation imposed by a law, regulations or Community legislation; is necessary for the performance of obligations resulting from a contract to which the data subject is a party, or else in order to comply with specific requests made by the data subject prior to entering into a contract. d) At any point in time, you can exert your rights towards the data controller, according to Section 7 of the Decree Law 196/2003, which is included in full for your convenience, by addressing us for such queries according to the following:
 
1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.

2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed:

a) of the source of the personal data;

b) of the purposes and methods of the processing;

c) of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;

d) of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated

e) of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.


3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain:

a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;

b) erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully,
including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected
or subsequently processed;

c) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as
also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or
disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

4. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part,

a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though
they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the
purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or
commercial communication surveys.
